We are a 'Rhino Readers' school.
In year 3, lots of the children will be free readers, which means they have competed our Twinkl phonics scheme and are able to choose their own books to read for pleasure.
The children will come home with an appropriate book according to their reading level each week.
Please listen to your child read and put a comment in their reading diary. There is useful discussion points at the end of the book.
Spelling
Spelling is a target in year three this year!
Please practise the weekly spellings sent home with the children each week. There will be an informal test on a Friday to check how the children are getting on.
