Digital Competence is one of the three core curriculum areas in Wales, alongside literacy and Numeracy. Children at Mount Stuart have the opportunity from a young age to experience a variety of digital devices, including iPads, PCs, Chromebooks and interactive whiteboards. Digital learning is in every part of the curriculum.
E-safety and safe internet use is at the heart of our digital learning, and children are taught how to use devices and the internet safely and sensibly in all year groups. Each child has a digital passport, that includes a log of their own usernames and passwords for various websites and apps, including ActiveLearn, Hwb and Big Maths.
